You found the perfect home and you're under contract...
Day 2 - 10
Home Inspection and appraisal are scheduled
Ask the inspection company what warranty they have on their work.
Day 10 - 20
If repairs are needed, they are negotiated and completed
Do not use your credit while going through the loan process as it could affect your mortgage interest rate and approval.
Day 20 - 30
Title work and mortgage loan paperwork is almost complete
Before closing on your home it's always good to do a final walk through a day or two before closing to make sure the home is in good condition.
Day 30 - 45
Closing on your new home!
